Making Payments

To make a payment, please use one of the following methods:

• Personal, business, or bank check. All checks must be drawn on a U.S. bank. Bank checks in an amount exceeding $5,000 will be treated as personal checks, meaning that they must clear our bank for the transaction to be considered complete. Clearing personal checks takes three or more business days.
• Direct wire transfer. Clearing a wire transfer usually requires 24 hours. When sending an international wire transfer, please add $25 to the total amount. Wire transfers shuttle among several banks, each of which charges a fee. In our experience, such fees generally total about $25. You are responsible for these fees. If the fees actually charged are less than $25, we will refund the difference; if the fees exceed $25, we will ask for the difference from you.
• Visa, Master Card and American Express a 3% processing fee (including shipping charges) will be added to the total amount due. We cannot accept credit card payments that originate outside the U.S.

Payment Policies

Your payment and personal information is always safe. Our Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) software is the industry standard and among the best software available today for secure commerce transactions. It encrypts all of your personal information, including credit card number, name, and address, so that it cannot be read over the internet.

Payments are considered complete only after they have cleared our bank. No merchandise will be released or shipped until payment has cleared our bank – no exceptions. It is your responsibility to make sure that your payment clears in time to meet your delivery or shipping requirements. A fee of $125.00 will be charged on all checks returned by the bank for any reason. Accordingly, please be sure that sufficient funds are on deposit with your bank to cover the amount of your payment.

Custom work requires a nonrefundable deposit of 50% of the total order. Further, any stones purchased from us (such as keystones or side stones), with the exception of very small stones (melee), must be paid in full before we begin work. As an exception, if the cost of stones you have purchased from us equals or exceeds the cost of labor, we will not require a deposit.

Custom ordered pieces without center stones (such as wedding bands) or with center stones of insignificant value must be paid in full before we begin work. Residents of New York State must pay sales tax of 8.875% of the total order.
